Past the highstreet mannequins, Far from the amature shop windows....Beyond the Valley

Now this post does indeed get me truly excited because off a fab and famous street, down an unwinding road, across from a very sociable and busy pub (gotta set the scene people lol) we have Beyond the Valley.

Whilst pretending to be 'Dora the Explorer' I came across this interesting store and seeing as this particular one was not brought to my attention out of recomondation, i didn't quite know what to expect. However to my joy I was indeed impressed. With a very natural, earthly feel and style, this brand can definitely hold its own ground when it comes to competing against its neighbours. They have jewellery entirely constructed from wood, some from plastic laces (that hugely remind me of the scoubidou craze that flew around when i was younger) and even some that are knitted entirely out of cotton.

The mens rack is just as beautiful as the womans, both consisting of tops with patternized prints using a lot of browns, greens, blacks and oranges (adding to the overall earthly brand image). The womans rack contains a range of oversized blouses perfect for spring/summer, letting you look fashionable and elegant whilst allowing your body to breathe. Many items in the store just screamed "buy me," "wear me" but what did it for me was the aqua blue T with black patterns and geometric shapes printed on it. The black sweatshirt with a circular shapped pocket was another must have for me and at £110 some people may look at it and simple create this face --> (0_0) but that's simply because they can not see the potential within the garment. Can be worn as something to just throw on if popping out, or as something to spruce up a very casual outfit. Also their woman's patent leather bags (that slightly resemble dustbin bags) are also a head turner (check out the pics below for all 3 items).

Beyond the Valley is located on Newburgh Street, in west end and should definitely be on your list of shops.....You surely won't regret it. Be there or be a hexagon! :-)
