Presenting-Upper Playground (A must for urban fashionistas!)

This store goes down a slightly more urban road, but definitely does not drop any individualism, uniqueness or...je ne sais quoi! Upper Playground is the place to go when your looking for that one top that has all your friends, family and passengers on public transport staring at your chest! They have a wide range of short sleeve tops with very creative, visually appealing prints embellishing the whole piece of clothing.

Their range mainly consist of T-shirts, Jackets, Shirt and hats, and each range hold their ground in terms of being different and new, but NOT too far out of the box causing some conventional buyers to walk right out the store. However there is the one or two pieces of clothing that will have you doing a double take, then possibly followed up by a eye bulging motion, wrapped up with a "Yup i'll buy that!" The item that definitely did it for me was their Lisa Andrews-Japanese Porn Hoodie, displaying a collage of oriental woman (some of which are not fully dressed lol) all over the item (check picks below to see this beauty). They also have a lot of items that are not so crazy but are still "in" with today's mainstream fashion, such as checked shirts (definitely a dancer's favorite right now lol) and rare New Era hats with exclusive designs stitched on them.

The store is situated on Kingley Street adjacent to Carnaby Street, and is highly recommended if your looking for mainstream clothing that still has a unique flare.
Upper Playground......Go down and you will feel like a kid in Toys 'r' Us (is it just me that remembers and loved those exciting good times? lol)!!!!!

Year Zero....The future!

The up-and-coming store just off Carnaby Street known as "Year Zero" is definitely a store that HAS to be visited if your looking for innovative designs to certainly brighten and jazz up your wardrobe. This futuristic however very modern store will have you mouth falling to floor, muttering your favourite phrase (whether it's "OMG" or just plain "Wow") and contemplating cleaning out your wallet/purse and bank account just to snap up every piece they have to offer.

There's no question as to why, the brand has celebrity followings such as Beyonce' Knowles, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Paris Hilton and many more. Now I know you must be thinking, what end of the price range scale this store must be on, after reading those A list celebs, but even though some of their products may seem a little pricey, it is for dam sure well worth it! Besides you can't put a price on looking good. There are definitely some items you will NOT want to miss out on purchasing...........For me it was there low crutched military styled bottoms, accentuated with big bold buttons......check me out below modeling them in the store (excuse the colourful clown socks heehehehe)

So if you ever find yourself down West End, make sure you find yourself at Year Zero!!!!!!
